About Jack Shaffer

Pastor Jack came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior on April 5, 1990. He continued working for a major corporation and served in local churches as a teacher until 1999 when he recognized his need to be further trained in the word of God. He and his family moved to California where he attended The Master’s Seminary. He graduated summa cum laude in 2001 with his Masters of Divinity. After ministering for three years as a chaplain to the state legislature in Nashville, TN, he returned to The Master’s Seminary and earned a Masters of Theology in New Testament in 2007. During that time he ministered locally here in the Antelope Valley, teaching, preaching, and doing biblical counseling. He also served as an adjunct professor of New Testament at TMS.

Pastor Jack is married to Lisa and has four children, all girls – Ashleigh, Rebekah, Rachel, and Grace. His passion is for shepherding the people of God and teaching the Scriptures, particularly New Testament Greek, apologetics, and biblical decision-making.
